CAP Time (Career and Academic Planning Time)
CAP Time is a designated period for students to work on their academic and career goals. During CAP Time, students have the opportunity to make up missed assignments, seek extra help from teachers, and work on their Individual Plan of Study, which helps set goals for life after high school. Each student is assigned a CAP teacher who provides guidance and support from freshman to senior year.
CAP Time typically lasts about an hour and occurs three times a week in a five-day week. Students should use the eHall Pass system if they need to travel to other teachers or attend clubs and activities during this time. They are in charge of making their own passes to travel to classes they are needing assistance with or to make up assignments. This structure ensures students receive the academic support and career planning needed for success
