CAP Time (Career and Academic Planning Time)
CAP Time is a designated period for students to work on their academic and career goals. During CAP Time, students have the opportunity to make up missed assignments, seek extra help from teachers, and work on their Individual Plan of Study, which helps set goals for life after high school. Each student is assigned a CAP teacher who provides guidance and support from freshman to senior year.
CAP Time typically occurs four times a week. On Thursdays, students focus on Individual Plan of Study (IPS) lessons, and travel is not permitted. On other days, students may use the eHall Pass system to visit teachers, attend clubs, or participate in activities. Students are responsible for creating their own passes when they need academic support or need to make up assignments. This structure ensures that all students receive the academic help and career planning opportunities necessary for success.
